MEET A FEW OF OUR RESCUES WHICH HAVE BEEN PLACED IN FOREVER HOMES!
EVERYONE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
These precious sweethearts were up for adoption and found loving homes. We are fostering many other pets needing loving and forever homes. If you have room in your heart and a little extra space in your home to adopt one of our fosters or one of the millions of pets elsewhere needing your love and care, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our very best to match you with a wonderful and perfect companion for life!
If you are unable to adopt at this time, please consider making a DONATION to help feed, house, and care for a pet until it can be adopted.
It is truly sad and unfortunate that any human being or any animal must suffer the pain of being hungry or homeless. In this day and age, there should not be such a thing as starvation, abuse, or having to suffer the harsh cold in winter. Unfortunately, however, regardless of the many people who have big hearts, there still aren't enough kind and generous people to feed and shelter all of the homeless who are suffering. If we are able to honestly say that we have done the very best we possibly can, then that is all we can do. However, how many of us have REALLY done our VERY best?
We will not address all of the horrors and inefficiencies in our country, but we will address the topic on how each of us can make a difference in providing help to homeless pets. Animals rely on humans to speak loudly on their behalf, taking action to protect them. Almost everyone has the ability to help in some way.
Every single adoption from a shelter or rescue group and every donation made to benefit a pet, helps enormously. Imagine what it could mean if everyone living in just one city each made a $1 donation to help feed and house a homeless pet, or to help spay or neuter an unaltered pet. That would be H U G E !!! Multiply that by everyone in a county, state, or country! This would save the lives of thousands and thousands of animals who would otherwise be euthanized.
If you are unable to adopt a pet or make a donation, you can still help by spreading the word about the need for placement of homeless pets and, of course, the need for funding. It's so easy to help and it doesn't take much time.
Before adopting any pet, it is strongly recommended that you understand the needs of that pet. Animal shelters, both public and private, various rescue groups, adoption agencies, pet stores, pet trainers & behavioralists, and veterinarians can be a source of important information for prospective, new or existing pet owners.
Adopting and/or fostering a pet is a big responsibility. You must be property prepared to bring a pet into your home, regardless if it is on a temporary or permanent basis. There are thousands of animals needing loving, caring, and responsible homes. A little bit of proper preparation can go a long way to ensure a positive relationship between pet and pet owner by creating a happy, healthy, and safe environment for the pet and it's family. Once your pet becomes a member of your family, the result will be many, wonderful years of happiness for both you and your pet!
There are many, many pets who need your help. Some have suffered neglect or horrible abuse, or have experienced other horrifying ordeals which may require extra patience and love from it's new owner. The result, however, will be amazing, when adoptive "parents" begin to experience the tremendous gratitude, loyalty and love they receive from these new members of the family and for the rest of their lives. Please be a person who can help by contacting your local animal shelter or rescue organization to learn how you can adopt one of these less-fortunate animals who is in desperate need and deserving of a good home.
Whether or not you are able to provide a home for a pet, please consider making a donation to your local animal shelter or to a charitable organization such as the Human Society of the United States. These organizations are in desperate need of funds, pet food and supplies, volunteers, and other miscellaneous contributions in order to continue providing the unbelievably dedicated and wonderful services which play a huge role in helping save and protect the lives of unwanted pets, preserving wildlife, and fighting to prevent the extinction of many different species.
THANK YOU on behalf of all these wonderful animals for your kindness and willingness to help.
